Backgrounds galore

Hello, I hope you are having a lovely day. These are two more entries for the Simon Says Stamp Kids Vacation Challenge.

a cat looking up into a wonderfully made sky
Shai, age 14

I started with a white card base and masked off the edges. The cat was masked and I used three colours of inks for the sky and splattered it with white paint, shimmer spritz and water. I stamped the clouds and sentiment and embossed with white powder. I filled the clouds with Nuvo drops and coloured the cat with grey markers. I used a strip of green card stock for the grass. To finish the card, I added Nuvo drops to the sky.

I stamped the images with black ink and coloured them with markers. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of card stock and blended pink ink on the strip. To add sparkle, I added Nuvo drops to the tubes and the sentiment strip, and my card is complete.

Today we’re sharing two cards for the Simon Says Stamp Kids Vacation Challenge 2019. Shai loves to draw and colour (my favourite hobby is reading), and my mum bought her 25 Copic markers to try out. We’ve been having fun using the markers on our cards.
